About our Paris Office

The Paris Trade and Investment Office (TIO) facilitates trade and investment between Ontario, Canada and France and Belgium.

The Government of Ontario, Canada operates a network of International Trade and Investment Offices (TIOs) located in Canadian diplomatic missions around the world. Working closely with Canadian federal, provincial and municipal partners, these offices raise Ontario’s profile and build commercial relations in key global markets.

What we do

Assist French and Belgian companies in priority sectors to expand into Canada and access the North American market through a base in Ontario by:

  • Providing market data and intelligence, including information on business costs and incentives;
  • Establishing connections to government, institutional, and private sector partners to assist companies bring their expansion plans to completion;
  • Facilitating site visits and providing expertise and guidance throughout the expansion process.

Assist Ontario exporters of value-added goods and services to access new markets by:

  • Providing customized market guidance on doing business in France and Belgium;
  • Organizing pre-qualified meetings for Ontario companies to present their products and services to French and Belgian buyers;
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to deliver incoming and outgoing export-related trade missions and participation in trade shows;
  • Facilitating connections with distributors and other potential business partners in France and Belgium.
