We are pleased to offer additional sessions after the official MedTech conference concludes. Ontario has organized an independent and unique program for international and interprovincial delegates who want to learn more about Ontario’s vibrant medtech cluster.

This program features two live sessions which highlight Ontario as a premier destination for doing business. These include a foreign direct investment session and a high-level panel discussion on Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This one-hour FDI session will provide a high-level overview of growing your business in Ontario through a series of targeted presentations. You can expect to hear from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, a leading boutique immigration law firm and BDO Canada, who will highlight doing business in Ontario through a tax and advisory lens.

This unique panel session will bring together leading home-grown Ontario companies, multinationals, and health system experts to discuss how medical technologies and new pivoting strategies have helped Canada’s most populous province respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can expect to hear from a panel of leading medtech Ontario companies to discuss a broad range of topics including the dire quest for personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critical COVID-19 medical supplies, and how crucial partnerships and collaborations between industry, the healthcare system and the Ontario government proved vital to managing the pandemic response.
