With ScaleBuster installed, the calcium and magnesium are precipitated into suspension, with limestone present in the form of aragonite, a non-adherent crystalline structure contrary to the untreated calcite that can cause deterioration and damage in unprotected systems. ScaleBuster-based EnviroTower technology treats cooling tower water and replaces traditional chemicals and softeners, with way better results, saving up to 15% OpEx and 5-12% CapEx of chillers and cooling towers.
