The Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC) is a non profit organisation recognised by the High Commission of Canada in India and the only organization based in India which is dedicated to promoting Indo-Canadian economic and bilateral relations. ICBC is also a recipient of the Governor General of Canada's Medallion for being a friend of Canada, in 2014, for the exceptional role played by the Chamber in promoting bilateral trade and building strong relationships between the two countries. As the only bi-lateral Chamber based in India, ICBC plays an important role in facilitating and promoting business between India and Canada, working closely with the State and Central Government of India and the Provincial and Federal Government of Canada. ICBC also hosts Ministers and Dignitaries from both the Countries thus playing the vital role of advocacy in helping Canadian Companies in India voice their challenges and concerns to the Indian Government and identify possible solutions.
