Ontario Power Generation (OPG) owns and operates two nuclear stations, which are used in the irradiation/production of nuclear isotopes for public use. OPG’s current isotope portfolio includes Tritium, Cobalt-60, Heavy Water and Detritiation Services. In addition, OPG is actively developing various partnerships, providing irradiation services of isotopes for future commercialization.
Ontario Power Generation’s Isotopes program leverages our access to nuclear reactors to irradiate targets, creating life saving medical isotopes for public use. Our technical and project execution expertise has enabled us to develop scalable technology to increase our irradiation capabilities, making OPG an ideal irradiation option for future isotope opportunities.
