The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) is the lead economic development organization for Sarnia-Lambton. The area has emerged as Canada’s 2nd largest Petrochemical & Refining complex, North America's leading Hybrid Chemistry Cluster, and is Ontario’s Hydrogen Hub. The area is known and respected as a key engineering, R&D and product/process commercialization centre for the petrochemical, refining, bio-based and low-carbon chemistry industries.

The Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance (SLIA) is a coalition of over 30 Sarnia-Lambton companies that specialize in all aspects of metal fabrication, engineering, environmental and support services geared to manufacturing industries. SLIA companies have the skills and manpower to take a concept from front end development through process design, engineering, environmental permitting, manufacturing of machinery and equipment modules, construction, installation and plant commissioning.

Objectives:
Connect with companies to understand future business and expansion plans and to identify how companies could benefit from Sarnia-Lambton’s value-proposition, including working with or within Sarnia-Lambton.

Other objectives include:

  • Investment attraction;
  • Job creation;
  • Identifying partnership opportunities;
  • Relationship building within core industrial sectors; and
  • Educating stakeholders of location advantages of Sarnia-Lambton.

Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance (SLIA) wants to connect with companies to showcase the “world-class” services member companies offer. The objective is to create awareness and business opportunities for our manufactured, fabricated products, and services in providing supply chain solutions that exemplify technical acumen, craftsmanship and safety.
