Profile

Kings Distributed Systems developed the Distributed Compute Protocol (DCP), a software framework that connects arbitrary digital infrastructure to form distributed computing networks to solve massive computational problems such as data analytics.

The Protocol divides parallelizable problems into many tasks, each solved by one or more nodes communicating with each other via the Protocol. All communications are encrypted, and data remains private as it remains on-premises.

KDS also provides Private DCP networks called Compute Groups (including mobile edge networks; private, on-premises networks).

Through a modern web stack and an API, Compute Groups instances allow enterprises to easily tap into their own under-utilized infrastructure devices to ensure granular control over any supply availability, privacy, security and latency.

The acquisition of computing resources is up to 20 times cheaper than commercial cloud alternatives. Magna awarded KDS the Future Mobility Disruptor award at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco in 2019.
