Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Vic Fedeli, welcomes you to Ontario's virtual mission to Japan and South Korea.

Ontario has always shared a storied history with Japan and South Korea. From strong partnerships in the automotive industry, to fruitful trade relationships, there has never been a better time for Ontario to collaborate in business with Japan and South Korea.

Minister Fedeli will be virtually meeting with major players in both Japan and Korea’s automotive and IT industries, showcasing that Ontario is open for business.

Ontario’s mission to Japan and South Korea anchored by the province’s attendance at the JSAE annual congress, where a delegation of eight companies will showcase their innovations in the automotive space, as well as a webinar hosted by Canada’s Embassy in Tokyo, in collaboration with Japanese web-media outlet ‘RESPONSE’ on the Automotive Industry’s Shift Towards Net Zero Emissions and Canada’s EV Sector. At the event, Minister Fedeli will deliver a keynote address to Japanese automotive companies and assemblers about why Ontario is the ideal location for investors to locate their EV facilities.
