AmacaThera is a clinical-stage biotechnology company transforming therapeutics to make a difference in patient health. A unique, injectable patent-protected hydrogel platform provides localized, sustained drug delivery that can be used with a variety of therapeutics to deliver long-lasting treatment where and when it’s needed most. AmacaThera’s first product for improved post-op pain control decreases the need for opioids and advanced into the clinic in 2022. AmacaThera’s second product is currently in the R&D phase and is aimed at reducing the toxicity of cancer treatment.
