Albarrie is a vertically integrated Canadian manufacturer of high-performance nonwoven technical textiles. Its product line includes maintenance-free Oil Containment Bund systems. Albarrie’s Oil Containment Bund systems use oil-reactive nonwoven barriers that instantly solidify transformer oil leaks, delivering passive, maintenance-free containment. Unlike traditional concrete systems, they offer a lower carbon footprint, require no heavy civil work, and are ideally suited for remote or logistically challenging sites. This makes them a reliable and sustainable choice for utilities, substations, and energy operations — especially where active containment or no containment has been the default due to site constraints.
