More powerful AI systems are larger AI systems. Applied Brain Research (ABR) has made a breakthrough in AI model size explosion by developing a compression method for AI models. With this compression algorithm, ABR has developed a small and cheap but very powerful AI processor. For a few dollars, products can run AI models on devices that previously required cloud servers. Devices get smarter, more powerful and more appealing to customers while costs and power consumption go down. Batteries last longer, devices converse in full, natural-language sentences and sensors process more events with greater accuracy. ABR’s clients include Intel, BMW, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and BP.
