Established in 1971, Special Electronics & Designs Inc.'s (SED Inc.) first project began with OPG Bruce Nuclear – Headsets for communication between all staff in the vault areas. The need for specialized communication solutions in the Nuclear industry led to the design and development of unique product solutions, specialized components and full systems integration. Over the years, SED Inc. has been known for designing custom products that meet specifications for hazardous environments. This hallmark has led to projects worldwide, and the company now offers over 200 product types tailored for high-risk industries.
