Acrolab Ltd. is a thermal engineering solutions company with over 75 years as a custom solutions provider for various industrial manufacturers from high-end consumer and defence electronics to plastics, rubber and composite processors in all areas of manufacturing. Acrolab’s headquarters and research and development facilities are located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, however its business is global. As an innovator and research focused company, it continuously develops new enabling technologies and has two technology licensees, one in the EU and the other in North America. Acrolab provides three core capabilities to its clients, first a strong research and development (R&D) focus; second, it provides thermal engineering solutions provided by its team of design and applications engineers; and third, Acrolab aims to be a full-service supplier, providing a wide range of thermal electric and auxiliary products that enable our customers to get a complete solution from a single source.
Products and Services
Products include Isobar® heat pipes, Isoplatens®, industrial heating elements, thermocouples and RTDs, stoner degreasers and cleaners, standard and custom control panels and other components and accessories such as insulation board, wire and connectors. At Acrolab, its thermal engineering team has assisted clients in the automotive, aerospace, water purification, telecommunications, medical, petroleum and various manufacturing industries. With an extensive applications database and significant experience in the manufacturing sector, Acrolab is able to effectively address thermal challenges for its clients. It has decades of experience working with material processors, especially in the plastics and rubber sectors, and work closely with their tool, die and mold (TDM) manufacturers to optimize thermal performance of their tooling, reducing cycle times while ensuring consistent and repeatable part quality. Acrolab’s thermal management solutions are both comprehensive and scaled to address clients concerns such as cost, performance, manufacturability and reliability. Target customers are TDM makers and part processors.
