e-Zinc Inc. is an Ontario-based clean-technology company that designs and manufactures breakthrough long-duration energy storage (LDES) systems using a zinc-based, water-electrolyte battery chemistry. The technology decouples power from energy, delivering low cost, safe, modular and flexible systems that deliver 10-100+ hours of energy, well beyond the reach of conventional lithium-ion batteries. e-Zinc serves three core markets: grid resilience and backup power, remote and off-grid operations (including mining, telecom, and defence), and multi-day renewables integration. The company operates manufacturing facility in Canada, has offices in the USA, and is advancing pilot deployments with the California Energy Commission and Toyota Tsusho Canada.
e-Zinc aims to explore business opportunities in Western Australia's remote and off-grid mining sector, build on relationships established through the GreenTech Hub WA network where e-Zinc was awarded as a champion of the long game energy challenge. e-Zinc is looking to identify potential investment, joint-venture, or agent/distributor partners to support Australian market entry.
