Profile

Artemis Project is an award-winning Canadian social enterprise advancing Gender-Responsive Procurement (GRP) in the global mining industry. It connects mining companies with high-quality, women-owned suppliers, delivering innovation, ESG value, and economic inclusion. Artemis’ solutions include GRP certification, supplier databases, executive training, and enterprise sales development for women entrepreneurs. With a network of 70+ Canadian women-led businesses, Artemis is working with leading gold producers and expanding internationally—starting with Australia, and Peru in 2025/2026. It aligns with Canada’s trade and gender equity priorities, helping ensure mining supply chains drive competitive advantage and inclusive growth worldwide.

Objectives of joining this trade mission:

Artemis Project is launching its Australian chapter to hire local talent, build the capacity of women-owned businesses to become exceptional suppliers, and connect them with progressive mining companies seeking innovative solutions. It wants to meet with progressive mining companies and associations that are keen to support and see Gender-Responsive Procurement as a lever for innovation and high economic impact across the global mining supply chain. Artemis expects to find local talent interested in starting with them in Australia.
