BacTech Environmental Corporation (BacTech) specializes in sustainable mineral processing using bioleaching technology—a natural process that uses bacteria to extract metals from ores and mine waste. Objectives of joining this trade mission:
BacTech is seeking Australian partners and mine end-users for its bioleaching and new zero-waste technologies. The company's proven bioleaching technology treats gold and base metal concentrates, while its new zero-waste mine tailings treatment technology offers a way to remediate mine waste to generate revenue. Both solutions provide environmentally responsible methods integrated into mine production. BacTech's local technical base is in Perth W. Australia, providing an ideal platform for partnering with Australian companies on projects both domestically and internationally.
