The Edward S. Rogers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Toronto (UofT) is a world-renowned research institution across a wide range of areas of engineering and applied science. ECE engages in the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge from the fabrication of atomic level devices to revolutionary technologies such as microelectronics, computer systems, software, and networks.
UofT’s ECE Department has over 85 professors engaging in world leading research and teaching across diverse areas. It has over 1,600 undergraduate and 800 master and PhD students. It consistently ranks among the top 15 ECE departments worldwide.
