Profile
Memory-centric compute IP for efficient AI and data processing.
Hepzibah Inc. (HZ) is a Toronto-based semiconductor startup developing a memory-centric compute architecture for efficient artificial intelligence (AI) and data processing. Its technology integrates computation directly with memory to reduce data movement, improving performance and energy efficiency in data-intensive workloads such as vision, sensing, and edge inference. HZ licenses its architecture as intellectual property (IP) to semiconductor partners and works with system companies to evaluate real-world applications. The founding team has prior experience developing multiple generations of AI silicon and commercializing advanced compute technologies.
Objectives:
To establish partnerships with semiconductor and system companies in Taiwan to evaluate real-world edge AI and data processing applications, and explore pathways for integrating Hepzibah’s architecture into future products through IP licensing and co-development. The company plans to enter the market through strategic partnerships rather than direct sales.
