Profile

AtacamaScope Canada offers an accessible and easy-to-use solution for parents and educators who are looking to teach astronomy as part of children's STEM education. Thanks to the availability of its telescopes located in the Atacama Desert in Chile, and the real-time capture of astronomical images, it provides a practical and exciting solution for children to remotely move the telescopes themselves and explore the universe interactively and participatively from the first moment.

Mission Objectives

AtacamaScope Canada's objective mission is that more Canadians know about this technology and thus be able to bring science and astronomy closer, making it accessible to all people in the country, through practical experiences, connecting students with the stars of the southern hemisphere.
